巴基斯坦內政部官員稱，神學士武裝份子攻擊軍方創辦的Army Public School，已造成超過百人死亡，另有逾80人受傷。新華社也引述巴基斯坦官員表示，神學士武裝份子攻擊白夏瓦所由軍方創辦的學校，目前已造成104人死亡，其中84名死者是學生。

稍早神學士發言人曾聲稱，攻擊學校的武裝份子，身上配備自殺炸彈。目前各媒體對死亡人數說法不一，美國CNN稱84死，法新社則稱95死。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
