本報訊

（中央社蒙羅維亞9日綜合外電報導）根據聲明，在選舉委員會承認無法安全舉辦選舉後，伊波拉疫情嚴重的賴比瑞亞已取消全國性參議員選舉。

賴比瑞亞總統今天抨擊國際社會對抗伊波拉行動緩慢。

聯合國秘書長潘基文則呼籲國際社會增加「20」倍資源，以對抗伊波拉疫情。

由於統計出錯，世界衛生組織（WHO）今天下修其發布的西非伊波拉疫情累計病死人數，把原公布的病死總人數減少14人。

世界衛生組織說，截至本月5日止的西非伊波拉病死人數為3865人；世衛昨天說，非洲西部的伊波拉病致死人數為3879人。

此數據為伊波拉病毒肆虐西非各國向世衛通報的病死總人數，不過世衛指出，相關數據遭到低報，實際的病死總人數要高很多。(中央社)
