梁振英再發表談話　重申適當時機採取行動

就在連續二晚香港「學聯」與特區政府的「會前會」後，雙方似乎都已準備好展開正式對話，此時香港特區政府行政長官梁振英卻又在深夜時分發表電視談話，除了強調港府對話的誠意外，也不忘繼續重申「會盡一切努力讓市民生活完全回復正常」，警方將在適當時機採取行動。

梁振英在預錄好的影片中表示，旺角人群集結，意見不同的民眾間衝突機會不斷增加，為了防止暴力犯罪、減少人命傷亡，香港警方會在適當時機採取行動，在場集結的學生與民眾應盡快離開這個高危險地區。梁振英強調，雖然政府總部周一已經恢復運作，但運作並未完全回復正常，希望在場民眾重新思考，在以「公民抗命」方式爭取民主與理想前，是否也要考慮廣大市民長期受到「佔中」影響所產生的困擾。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
