前遊騎兵教頭去職原因出爐　對老婆不忠

2周前以「個人因素」突然辭去遊騎兵總教練職務的華盛頓(Ron Washington)，今天打破沈默召開記者會，公布自己真實的辭職原因—對老婆不忠。他今天在飯店召開約3分半的簡短記者會，發表簡短聲明，但不接受任何提問，以下為節錄重點：
 
「我犯了一個令我這輩子都會感到羞愧的錯誤，但在這情況下我並不會迴避，這是我太太總這麼對我說的。
 
我對我的太太並不誠實，我毀壞了她對我的信任，所以我今天在這裡要為我所犯的錯誤向她以及所有相信我的人道歉，我讓他們失望了，今天，我正處於我人生中的最低點，我真的很抱歉去破壞了這層信任感，我讓我的太太、球員、教練們、大聯盟與德州遊騎兵失望了。」
 
華盛頓2009年曾被驗出使用古柯鹼，但他曾率遊騎兵於2010及2011年打進世界大賽，生涯戰績670剩614敗，是隊史勝場數最多教頭。(賴德剛／綜合報導)
