太空人隊左投凱戈(Dallas Keuchel)克服加州將接40℃的高溫，也冷卻天使隊最近熾熱的炮口，先發7局只失1分，助太空人以6比1擊敗全大聯盟戰績最佳的球隊，同時中斷天使最近的10連勝。
天使在今天之前的10連勝，10場中有8場比賽得分至少有7分，但今天碰到凱戈卻完全沒輒，前5局演出小型的無安打比賽，第6局投出第1次保送，第7局1出後才被天使隊特勞特(Mike Trout)擊出第1支安打，8局下投出的114球，被佛瑞斯(David Freese)擊出1分打點安打，連完封都毀了，才退場休息。
