轉戰運動家初登板　雷斯特優質勝投

前紅襪王牌左投雷斯特(Jon Lester)日前被交易至運動家，今天轉隊後首度出賽就交出6.2局失3分優質先發。運動家在5局下鯨吞8分，與雷斯特一起轉隊的高姆斯(Jonny Gomes)單局2安打，終場以8比3擊敗皇家，雷斯特拿下轉隊後首勝，也是本季第11勝。
 
即使是大聯盟本季戰績最佳球隊，運動家仍積極補強，731交易大限前換來紅襪雷斯特與高姆斯2名去年世界大賽冠軍成員。今天初登板前的熱身，運動家全場超過3萬名球迷起立歡呼，雷斯特前6局僅失1分，直到7局上被擊出3安打才再失2分，退場時再次接受球迷英雄式的喝采。
 
這是雷斯特自6月7日之後，出賽9場以來，單場最多責失分，不過他從7月1日起，防禦率僅1.51，在美聯排名第3，而前2名分別是葛雷(Sonny Gray)1.07，凱茲默(Scott Kazmir)1.38，都是雷斯特的新隊友。先發投手戰將是運動家問鼎世界大賽最大優勢。(王覺一／綜合報導)
