居民拒石化管線回埋　否則誓死抗爭

高雄大爆炸受重創的前鎮區竹內里、竹中里和竹北里3位里長，昨表達居民心聲，表示石化管線不能再埋進去，甚至揚言「廠商若執意要重埋，一定誓死抗爭到底」。

今日出版的《自由時報》報導，高雄市府本周將由工程單位展開重建工作，計畫在3個月內恢復原貌。當地居民齊聲反對輸送管線回埋，要求避開住宅、商業區。前鎮竹中里長莊茂榮和竹內里長趙永耀批評，這些埋設管線的石化廠商，錢賺飽飽飽，30、40年從未更新、保養，趙永耀強調，廠商若執意要重埋，他一定誓死抗爭到底。（方翊倩／綜合報導）
