Flash LED營收　2018上看7.59億美元

隨著大尺寸智慧型手機成主流，除了帶動手機面板尺寸放大化之外，由於大尺寸的螢幕與更高的解析度，需要更多的LED來提升背光模組輝度，而畫素不斷提升的照相模組，也需搭配亮度更高的Flash LED，甚至需要2顆做為補光。因此帶動Flash LED需求跟著成長。
 
市調單位LEDinside研究副理郭志豪表示，2013年Flash LED總出貨量10.29億片，預估到2018年將大幅成長98.5%到20.43億片；至於在整體營收也會從2013年的5.61億美元成長至2018年的7.59億美元。
 
他指出，過去LED在傳統手機應用中，只是單純供應手機螢幕與鍵盤背光，使用量也不大，但隨著智慧型手機比例增加，消費者對手機功能要求也越來越高，例如更大尺寸的螢幕與更高的解析度，都需要更多的LED來提升背光模組輝度以及補光效果。
 
另外，在其他特殊的附加功能如遙控器、心跳偵測、環境感測等功能都必需仰賴LED，可見在智慧型手機的發展中，LED毫無疑問地扮演著一個重要的關鍵要素。（吳秀樺／台北報導）
