以韓劇「大長今」名聞遐邇的南韓女藝人李英愛，為宣傳韓國文化及傳統美食，即將於17日在紐約曼哈頓舉辦慶典活動，同時，還將為「世越號」海難遺屬展開募款活動。

南韓「日刊體育」報導，這次活動是紐約哈林區Democracy Prep公立學校的學生在哈林區向居民介紹韓食、傳播韓國文化的慶典，將於17日在曼哈頓134街7號和8號大道舉行。

慶典開始前將為「世越號」海難慘劇默哀，學生們已從本週起開始銷售黃色絲帶募集善款，活動收益將全數捐給「世越號」罹難者家屬。

據報導，南韓宣傳專家徐敬德教授表示，他將與李英愛共同贊助這項「韓國文化街道慶典」活動。

李英愛說，這是美國兒童們自己策劃並參與的韓國文化活動，意義重大，希望這一活動能成為年度例行活動，在紐約哈林區掀起一股新的「韓流」。(中央社)
