新竹縣五峰鄉長葉賢民在任職期間涉嫌對廠商收取回扣，遭新竹地方法院判刑6年6個月，褫奪公權5年。

依法院判決，葉賢民於民國99年任職期間，涉嫌對廠商收取回扣，並接受招待去有女子陪侍的店飲宴，及至中國大陸旅遊，經新竹地院審理判他6年6個月徒刑，褫奪公權5年。

擔任「白手套」的鄉公所秘書高瑞馨判8年6個月，褫奪公權6年。建設課約僱人員羅煥翔判2年徒刑，緩刑5年，褫奪公權1年，要捐款10萬給國庫，同案其餘4人獲判無罪。

檢警調查，葉賢民擔任鄉長期間，涉嫌向參與公共工程的投標廠商暗示「支票章子很重，蓋不下去」、「選舉要花很多錢，你們要表示一下」，多次向廠商收取回扣。廠商為讓工程驗收通過，還招待鄉公所人員去有女子陪侍的店飲宴，以及到中國大陸旅遊。

葉賢民目前停職，他表示，一切作為都是為了照顧鄉親，他並沒有違法亂紀，相信法律是公正的。對於是否上訴？他說，如果能做更清楚的說明，將再上訴。(中央社)
