YouTube對獨立頂尖內容創作者是賺大錢的管道，Business Insider根據YouTube分析公司SocialBlade估算數字，列出YouTube全球10大最吸金素人頻道。
 
儘管有些人可能還沒聽過這些素人，但他們在網路上可是受大批粉絲愛戴。在扣掉YouTube母公司Google收取的45%費用後，這些素人頻道每年依然能賺進最高達數百萬美元的廣告營收。
 
名列第9的是BFvsGF/PrankvsPrank，一開始只是魏倫斯（Jesse Wellens）將他惡整女友吃下肉桂的情形拍攝下來，但沒想到在YouTube上居然一炮而紅，而他的女朋友吉娜（Jeanna）不干示弱，也將他用鍋子打魏倫斯頭的影片上傳，後來演變成了一場惡作劇大戰，也使得這對有趣情侶成為了網路紅人。（陳冠穎／綜合外電報導）
