港新華社旁挖出未爆彈　緊急疏散4百人

香港灣仔厚德里新華社辦公室旁邊一個建築工地，今天(6日)下午3時42分，工人發現一個疑似未爆炸彈，炸彈直徑約1呎，其中2呎半範圍露出地面，工人報警求助，警員及消防人員獲報後到場，先疏散工人到工地外，警方爆炸品處理課人員隨後到場處理。

由於現場旁邊的華景樓，正是駐港新華通訊社所在。警方估計炮彈仍有殺傷力，立刻封路，更緊急疏散華景樓及旁邊的麗都酒店的住客。由於新華社內設有員工宿舍，連家眷有400多人，受這起事件影響，工作人員連同家眷都必須緊急離開，工作人員並帶走敏感資料及通訊器材，到灣仔霎西街新華社的另一辦事處繼續辦公。至於家眷則可能安排入住酒店。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
