台灣神豬躍上國際媒體　虐待動物被網友罵翻

新北市三峽祖師廟舉辦神豬祭，登上英國《每日郵報》，該報引用歐新社新聞照片，形容「豬被餵成普通豬的10倍重，然後宰殺祭神」，並提及廟方曾宣稱將於2017年停辦神豬賽，但今年又改口稱，以後不會發金牌給得獎者，似無意停辦神豬賽，文中也提及動保人士批評飼養神豬的習俗殘忍。報導中未多作撻伐，但《每日郵報》網站的讀者留言全是負面反應，惡評如潮：「不可思議的殘酷，當局者應阻止這些變態。」「人類都是白癡！」「光看文章就想作嘔，更不用說看到照片！」「這種傳統早該廢除了！」
