小冰河期來臨 太陽要睡了

台灣這幾天雖然太陽給足面子稍稍露臉，讓大家周末可以去戶外踏青或是看看圓仔，不過，周三又有一波低溫特報，氣溫將下探8度！而先前美國東北部也出現零下50度的罕見低溫呈現冰凍狀態。近日，科學家甚至警告，太陽將進入「休眠期」將帶來另一個「小冰河期」。

根據英國《每日郵報》（Daily Mail）報導，倫敦大學學院的研究員露西‧葛琳指出，2013年整年觀測太陽黑子數量以及活動頻率發現竟是這百年來最微弱的時刻。

而這種情形與1645年的「蒙德極小期」（Maunder Minimum）也就是「小冰河期」相同，歐美各地氣溫異常寒冷，當時連泰晤士河都冰凍，因此推測在未來這段期間，地球恐將進入與1645年非常相似的迷你冰河期，太陽逐漸進入「睡眠期」，導致溫度大幅下降。
