王宇佐成功晉級到澳網會內賽，今天（11日）在會外賽最後一戰以7-6（7）、7-3擊敗Daniel Kosakowski搶下會內賽門票，距離上次打進會內賽，整整相隔8年。

王宇佐在2005年澳網首輪止步，2006年晉級第二輪，後兩年都在會外賽止步，去年與前年也都止於會外賽，這是他相隔8年再闖會內賽。

面對來自美國、世界排名590的美國新秀，王宇佐第一盤一度3-5落後，但以破發追回局勢，戰局拖到搶七，順利搶下首盤。

第二盤也在3-3局面下率先突圍，連破帶保搶下3局，搶下會內賽席次，也為2011年在未來賽敗給對方報了一箭之仇。
