北市中正區食物銀行　22日周日開幕

【蔡亞樺／台北報導】台北市中正區公所今表示，中正區南機場是個老舊社區，中低收入戶、高齡獨居長者、身心障礙人士、新移民家庭等高風險或特殊家戶比例較高，忠勤里長方荷生發想出實體食物銀行構想，經近一年籌備，在中華路2段301巷12號「南機場翱翔再生基地」打造「臻佶祥幸福食物銀行」，將在本周日、12月22日正式開幕，提供各項生活資源。

中正區所表示，歲末或傳統節日時，政府單位、民間團體、善心人士捐贈許多物資，但捐贈種類重複性高、數量過多，無法在保存期限內發送完畢、物資有效分配，形成資源浪費，參考國內外食物銀行經營模式後，里長方荷生認為社區弱勢居民需要的不僅是吃與穿，更需要自尊，將透過社區服務與工作機會，以服務獲得生活物資，達成「弱勢照顧、社區互助、自給自足」的理想。
