崇拜恐怖組織　男欲炸機場遭逮

【陳怡妏／綜合外電報導】美國當局13日逮捕一名企圖用汽車炸彈攻擊肯塔基州地方機場的嫌犯，該男子利用在機場上班之便，觀察機場配置、班機時刻表等細節，打算在旅客較多的聖誕節前發動攻擊，以製造最大死傷和經濟衝擊。

58歲的嫌犯羅文（Terry Lee Loewen）在肯塔基州威契塔（Wichita）地方機場擔任飛機維修員，他因同情基地恐怖組織，崇拜在美國出生的基地要角瓦拉基（Anwar al-Awlaki），半年前在網路上揚言要對美國發動「激烈聖戰」，因此遭聯邦調查局（FBI）盯上，並派臥底跟他交朋友，以掌握恐攻細節，上周三他在臥底探員陪同下，動手組裝要放在車上的炸彈，13日凌晨準備把車開上機場跑道時，遭當局收網逮捕。

當局表示，羅文車上的是不會爆的啞彈，強調機場人員從未身處險境。羅文被控企圖使用大規模毀滅性武器、企圖毀損財產，和援助基地恐怖組織等罪名，檢方認為他有搭機逃亡及威脅公眾安全之虞，下令收押。
