傳美環保署長訪台　外長林永樂否認

【陳培煌╱台北報導】有媒體報導美國環保署長吉娜麥卡錫（Gina McCarthy）訪台計畫因訊息提早曝光而破局。我外交部長林永樂今晚參加日本交流協會舉辦「天皇陛下誕生日慶祝酒會」受訪表示，「目前是沒有這次訪問」，外交部沒有洩露任何名單，美國方面也沒有任何不滿。

媒體追問吉娜麥卡錫是否會訪台？林語帶保留說，「大家稍微等一下」，邀美高層官員是外交部持續進行工作，會在適當時機會對外說明。

駐美代表金溥聰這次返國進行台美外交專案報告，林永樂解釋，這是年度專案，持續、不定時舉行，每次議題都不同，金這次回國與國安會、高層及他進行溝通，包括未來如何加強與美關係。因金溥聰預定本周返美，在23日又要返國到立法院外交委員會進行專報，林永樂說，金尊重立院外委員訂定日期。
