泰王生日 示威衝突暫時休兵

泰王生日朝野休兵 但暗潮洶湧（法新社曼谷4日電） 泰國警方在平息暴力衝突行動中突然喊停後，反政府抗議群眾和安全部隊今天暫時休兵，因為全國準備為崇敬的泰王慶生，不過仍有群眾陸續抵達位於首都曼谷鬧區的國家警察總部外。

示威民眾加入曼谷當局行列，清理民主紀念碑（Democracy Monument）附近一帶。數萬民眾已在民主紀念碑一帶紮營1個多月集會抗議，表達對總理盈拉（Yingluck Shinawatra）政府的不滿。

明天是泰國國王蒲美蓬（Bhumibol Adulyadej）86歲生日，這個地區是慶祝活動的重要場地之一。

多處重要政府大樓外本週稍早爆發警民衝突，附近地區部分垃圾已經被人清走。

曼谷多天來的街頭衝突昨天突然喊停，安全部隊表示不再對試圖闖入盈拉辦公室和曼谷市警察總部的示威者動武後，抗議群眾送警察鮮花。

儘管雙方表面上暫時休戰，今天仍有群眾陸續抵達曼谷鬧區的國家警察總部，不過這場集會預料為時短暫且過程和平。

泰國國家安全委員會（National SecurityCouncil）秘書長巴拉多恩（Paradorn Pattanatabut）說，當局不擔心這場集會。

他還說：「他們今天的行動只是示威一下，表明抗議活動仍在進行中。」

在民主紀念碑手持掃帚的37歲民眾帕里塔（PalitaNutchoei）說：「我們正在幫忙清理，因為泰王生日快到了。」

不過她還表示：「我們會持續抗議，因為我們覺得我方尚未勝利。」（譯者：中央社盧映孜）
