【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】後天就是美國已故總統甘迺迪逝世50周年紀念日，美國各地及媒體都在舉辦紀念甘迺迪等相關活動。由於甘迺迪死於被刺殺，因此「刺殺者」的傳言每年都會流出，就有專家統計，關於甘迺迪的刺殺傳言，總共有82人、42團體「涉案」。

縱使甘迺迪英年早逝、死於非命，但他仍是美國夢的代表，甘迺迪提出登陸月球的雄心壯志，從古巴飛彈危機中挽救美國免於核戰等，都讓甘迺迪在美國歷史上成為「英雄」。不過近年來史學家也開始批評甘迺迪，認為他雖深具才幹，帶給美國人民希望，但真正的立法和外交成就很少，對美國的國家發展其實共獻不大。
