【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】費古洛在第9局讓樂天打者3上3下，以99球完投只失1分，助統一獅隊以4比1打敗日本職棒2013年冠軍樂天金鷹隊。終止中華職棒總冠軍在亞職大賽，對日職總冠軍的9連敗。
統一獅獲勝後，是隊史第2次打進亞職冠軍賽，也是中職總冠軍第4度打進冠軍戰，將於明天晚間18:00出戰澳洲坎培拉騎兵隊，爭取2013年亞職冠軍。這也是亞職史上第1次沒有日本、韓國職棒隊晉級冠軍賽。
