習近平見柯林頓　談基金會貢獻

【大陸中心／綜合外電報導】中國國家主席習近平18日在人民大會堂與美國前總統柯林頓會晤，兩人對柯林頓基金會的角色進行意見交流。
 
習近平讚賞柯林頓於擔任美國總統期間努力推動中美關係的發展，更對他卸任後成立的基金會在扶助中國貧窮、慈善、衛生防疫與防治愛滋病等領域進行了合作，成果可觀。

柯林頓則對習近平恭賀中國日前第十八屆三中全會的成功召開，並支持出爐的《決定》以及中國全面改革。並允諾柯林頓基金會將繼續推動美中兩國在衛生、新興能源、生態環境以及氣候變化等領域的合作，並希望與中國在在非洲地區進行新的合作，共同關注非洲大陸的發展。
