【葉國吏／綜合報導】菲律賓遭受海燕颱風重創近10天，發現有一小村落竟成「寡婦村」。

今日出刊的《蘋果》報導，海燕災情慘重，菲律賓保守估計近4千人死、約1200人失蹤，經濟損失約68億元台幣，遠低於國際專家估計。

有外媒深入雷伊泰的海濱村落坎達虎村，一探寡婦村狀況，本月8日海燕登陸時，民眾忽視強颱威力，只讓婦孺到高地避難，壯丁留守家園，免得遭人打劫，沒料到巨浪緊隨風暴來襲，比房屋還高的浪頭把全村夷平，130人罹難，全村男性幾乎全亡。
