【劉志原╱台北報導】針對我國旅客在馬來西亞遇害案，法務部次長陳明堂表示，已請犯罪被害人保護協會主動與被害人家屬聯絡，提供必要協助，陳明堂說，依新修正的《犯罪被害人保護法》規定，我國國民在台灣地區設有戶籍者，若合法出境後在海外遇害，未獲損害賠償或未獲案發地犯罪補償金者，其遺族可以申請扶助金共20萬元。
