旅客每到一個地方，都會不自覺地把當地獨特的氣味烙印在腦海中，倫敦希思羅機場早前在二號客運大樓設置『氣味地球儀』，讓旅客在出發前先一嘗目的地氣味，還沒出發就對目的地充滿了期待。

中新網據外媒報導，氣味地球儀可噴出南非、日本、泰國、大陸及巴西的氣味，大陸的氣味是『結合廟宇香火與桂花香，營造東方氣息』，日本的氣味則是『結合海草、貝殼、綠茶和龍涎香的恬靜幽香，感受沿海小鎮的精髓』。

巴西的氣味是『濃烈熱帶雨林氣息』，南非則是『融合部落香熏、野草和麝香』，令人恍如在非洲獵奇歷險。
