片面宣布與台斷交　我外交部撤下甘國旗

【陳培煌╱台北報導】甘比亞今晨片面宣布與中華民國斷交，我外交部長林永樂接獲我駐甘國大使館電報訊息後，立即召開部內緊急會議，林永樂對《蘋果》記者表示，我大使館在甘比亞政府宣布前就已經獲知消息，對方總統府事先已知會我方相關訊息。

據了解，甘比亞政府昨深夜臨時發斷交節略給我駐甘國大使館，駐館大使收到後立即拍電報回給外交部。記者上午8時抵達外交部時，甘比亞國旗仍與其他邦交國國旗一同放置在一樓大廳，不過近9時許，外交部工作人員已經把甘比亞國旗撤掉。

總統馬英九2008年上任後，中華民國邦交國數一直維持在23個，甘比亞是我國在非洲的少數邦交國之一。目前邦交國數已經降為22個。
