〔自由時報記者卓佳萍／台北報導〕「新台灣人」戴維斯守護璞園禁區，同時在達欣洋將歐可沙面前飛身爆扣，全場球迷鼓掌叫好，終場璞園以88：81擊退達欣。

戴維斯上場20分鐘，送出10分、10籃板雙十表現，搧出3個麻辣鍋，硬是將對手洋將歐可沙比了下去，歐可沙領到5犯下場，達欣教練許智超表示，歐可沙才來到球隊5天，戴維斯到台灣2年，經驗不能比，但會繼續測試他，開幕戰也會決定用他。

達欣上週在海峽挑戰賽面對本土球隊的比賽全勝，昨敗給璞園，許智超指出，輸球沒有理由，但也非壞事，算是給球員警惕。至於受傷的田壘、張智峰，根據醫生建議，預計休兵一週，能否趕上開幕戰，許智超表示，得依球員體能與練球狀況決定，目前仍是未知數。
