歐美非出現混合型日蝕

歐美非三大洲週日出現罕見的混合型日蝕，最先看見日蝕的地區是美國南部，隨後東移，涵蓋整個大西洋及歐洲與非洲大陸。

美國「太空總署」表示，這是出現在大西洋上空最完整的一次日蝕。

觀看這次天文奇觀最好的地點之一是在「肯亞」北部，不少民眾組團前往旅遊，並觀看日全蝕，而在北美及南歐大概只能到日環蝕。

這次日蝕從美國「佛羅里達州」東部開始，在日出時，可見大約四秒的日環蝕，隨後逐漸成為日全蝕，這是罕見的混合型日蝕現象。
