華僑環島掉行李 王建煊協助找回

60歲美國華僑Linda每年回國參加國慶慶典，她今年提早回台，參加旅行社環島遊，上月26日下榻嘉義市某商旅。她認為拉著大行李上下車太費事，27日離開旅館時，囑咐旅行社將她的行李放在遊覽車行李廂保管，不隨她上下車，未料28日抵達花蓮，要從大行李中拿文件，竟發現整個行李不翼而飛。與導遊討論後，猜測行李掉在嘉義旅館。

當天監察院長王建煊碰巧有花蓮私人行程，與Linda下榻同一間飯店。Linda由導遊帶領向王建煊陳情，王立刻打電話給嘉義市警局長薛清蓮，薛指示轄區長榮派出所協尋。

警方調閱監視器，發現Linda確實已將大行李帶出商旅，放進遊覽車內，鍥而不捨隨旅行社旅遊路線追查，發現Linda 27日下榻高雄義大世界某飯店，飯店疑還未通知旅行社，衍生掉行李烏龍。Linda得知行李找回，欣喜萬分，頻頻道謝。王建煊透過秘書得知事情圓滿解決，也相當欣慰。
