不怕颱風 恆春豎孤棚照辦

（中央社記者郭芷瑄屏東縣20日電）雖然中央氣象局發布潭美颱風警報，但恆春鎮一年一度的中元節豎孤棚活動照常舉辦，今天傍晚將由踩街拉開序幕。

有138年歷史的恆春鎮中元節豎孤棚（搶孤）活動，早年為了增加攀爬難度，設計在柱上塗滿牛油，用手腳抱著木柱上攀，閩南語稱「豎」，所以恆春搶孤又稱「豎孤棚」，選手綁布條在牛油柱上緩緩上爬。

雖然潭美颱風來襲，屏東今天也下雨，但因恆春不是主要登陸地，恆春豎孤棚活動仍照常舉辦。

豎孤棚的重頭戲爬孤棚在明天晚上舉行，今天的暖身活動有傍晚的踩街及晚上的熱音樂團競賽，為了慶祝恆春城隍爺「新居」有著落，今年的踩街嘉年華取名為「城隍爺夜巡」，晚上的晚會有吳申梅、許富凱及郭婷筠等人演唱。

明天下午4時30分開始有大專院校啦啦隊競賽，緊接著的晚會邀請歌手朱俐靜及陳勢安演唱，爬孤棚晚上9時10分開始。

今年比較特別的是32支競賽隊伍中，有1支棚柱讓電影「痞子遇到愛」劇組進行拍攝，另1棚柱有「瘋台灣」拍攝紀錄片，今年實際參與競賽隊伍一共有30隊。

每年都組隊參加的宜蘭頭城今年沒有缺席，還有國軍空降訓練中心也組隊參賽。1020820
