昨晚有網友在PTT八卦版PO文爆料，指苗栗縣府要求員工上臉書「苗栗縣政府粉絲團」大埔都市計畫開發案的說明文章留言，並需將留言時間、內容及姓名等回報統計，引起不少網友議論。

縣行政處長何文德解釋，大埔案因有部分媒體不實報導，嚴重影響縣府的形象，為了讓縣府所有員工都能深入了解大埔案的實際真相，希望員工透過臉書交流，了解大埔案的真相後，可以多為縣府發聲澄清，並沒有強迫性。

苗栗縣政府粉絲團的大埔都市計畫開發案說明，解釋近年竹南頭份地區因科學園區及工業園區開發已近飽和，縣府提出擴大都市計畫申請原因，以滿足竹科竹南基地擴建所需用地，另說明區段徵收依法於新都市開發建設及開發需要，與地主達成領取現金補償、配地等措施，共創雙贏。

【綜合報導】現年25歲的美國維基百科洩密案的涉案人曼寧（Bradley Manning），今日被當地軍事檢察官求處至少60年徒刑。

曼寧因涉及將大量機密檔案洩漏給維基解密，當地軍事檢察官以一連串間諜和竊盜罪嫌等，向法官處以重刑，這些罪嫌最高可以累積至90年徒刑，而檢察官今日求處60年有期徒刑。

國軍募兵成效不彰，民進黨立委薛凌表示，軍方募不到擁有中西餐等餐飲丙級證照的高中職畢業社會青年從軍，竟開放國中畢業都能報考志願役士兵，讓人擔憂軍方快找不到擁有證照的伙房兵幫三軍「顧巴肚」。

薛凌表示，為讓民間具有丙級餐飲證照的年輕人可進入軍中煮三餐，國防部從今年7月30日起，開放國軍食勤（伙房兵）、駕駛、修護等部份專長職缺，讓國中畢業程度青年也可報名志願役士兵。

薛凌表示，根據各單位提報資料，目前國中程度志願役士兵以男性食勤兵272位最多，陸軍及海軍也開放179位國中畢業程度青年擔任部隊駕駛兵。此外，陸軍開放77個名額，給國中畢業程度，曾在民間汽車修理廠當過學徒黑手的青年，入營擔任輪車修護兵。
