【侯昌騰／高雄報導】高雄從今日凌晨至清晨陷入狂風暴雨中，市區街道多處積水，有些地方甚至水深及膝，許多騎士穿梭在積水路段，非常驚險，還有人孔蓋冒出大量雨水，造成低漥地區陸續淹水，消防局清晨開始陸續指揮各分隊出動人車執行災情查報任務，所幸目前尚未傳出重大災情。

【李姿慧／台北報導】嘉義以南受康芮颱風豪雨影響，台鐵路線中斷，台鐵表示，嘉義站內南端因大水淹過軌道，今清晨5時30分起嘉義－南靖間中斷，截至上午9時仍雙線暫時不通，另民雄－大林間也因豪雨因淹過軌面，上午6時30分起迄今東線也中斷不通，初估影響3千多名旅客和通勤族，由於目前雨勢仍然很大，尚無法評估通車時間。

台鐵指出，目前南部雨勢轉強，今彰化以南各對號列車，將視路線淹水情況機動調整停駛或折返，另阿里山森林遊樂區受颱風影響休園，今上午6時起也全線停駛。

【綜合報導】美國丹佛動物園在昨日發生一名女遊客在餵食犀牛時，慘遭犀牛咬傷手指，目前這名女遊客正在醫院接受治療，而園方表示會負起所有責任。

園方指出，今年開始園區開辦餵食犀牛的活動，只要遊客花60美元(約新台幣1800元)，就可以近距離觸摸和餵食犀牛。據了解，當天肇事的犀牛名叫米西蒂(Mshindi)，過去從未發生咬傷人的事件，因此米西蒂這次會咬傷遊客，讓園方相當詫異，也相信米西蒂「絕非惡意攻擊」。不過目前米西蒂暫時被關禁閉。
