【莊淇鈞／新北報導】新北市消防局為了能讓「救災救護指揮中心」、各層救災指揮官更加迅速掌握災害現場即時資訊，進而正確做出指揮派遣消防戰力，所以從2009年開始建構「災害現場即時影像傳輸系統」，預計明年底能將28套「車載型影像傳輸系統」及8套「人員隨身型影像傳輸系統」完成配發及使用。
 
新式系統除可傳送較高品質的畫面外，也可以可傳送GPS定位、經緯度等資料，並與每張畫面結合，而且次系統也具有「聲音傳輸模組」並配有手持式無線具照明功能的攝影機（類似手電筒），新北市消防局希望透過新系統，能更有效的保障市民生命財產安全。
