【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】英國衛生大臣杭特（Jeremy Hunt）昨（18日）表示，英國有幾十萬老人被社會忽略，這是英國的恥辱，因此應該學習中國和日本如何照顧老年人。

英格蘭大約有40萬老人住在養老院，最近更不斷爆出養老院虐待老人的醜聞，或是親友對他們撒手不管，甚至有老人被餓死。最近調查則顯示，英格蘭「長期孤獨」的老年人約有80萬人，還有500萬老人稱陪伴他們的是電視機。

娶了一位中國妻子的杭特表示，他對亞洲人敬老的文化很有感觸，建議英國應該參考中國與日本的傳統智慧，如年邁的父母與子女同住，這在東方非常常見。

議員認市府應拿出誠意 積極溝通 中華日報 http://ppt.cc/Y0rx 　記者鄭佳佳／台南報導 　 針對鐵路地下化工程，市府採行政院核定版本，有議員認為市府現階段 應拿出更多誠意，積極與地方溝通，取得諒解。市議員謝龍介則認為， 畢竟是百年大業，地方提出的徵用土地等版本並非絕不可行，市府應審 慎評估。 　 謝龍介強調，鐵路地下化攸關府城百年大計，其實地方或專業人士提供 的意見如徵用土地等，必非絕不可能，若真的可以降低對民眾造成的影 響，那就應重新評估，多等一、兩年沒關係。但賴市長堅持己見，難道 就印證了地方質疑「市府與財團有默契」的說法。他強調，即便未來是 公園用地，但只需都委會同意變更，馬上就可改為商業用地，地價飆漲 ，樂的是財團，卻難為了沿線被迫搬遷的住戶。 　 市議員王定宇強調，現階段市府應該著重跟民眾找交集點，既然鐵路地 下化工程是中央核定，包括施工工法、施工或拆遷範圍，都需採行政院 版本，反倒是台南市民都應思考，是否要落實鐵路地下化工程，如果都 認為必須要執行，那就應該一同替被拆的四○七戶設想，思考有何方式 能降低他們的痛苦。 　 市議員陳文科表示，鐵路地下化是市民期待已久的重大政策，當然不允 許有變數發生，但眼前地方與市府私毫沒有共識，希望賴清德市長能苦 民所苦，重視基層聲音。 　 市議員唐碧娥認為，鐵路地下化是勢在必行，採潛盾工法在安全、影響 層面都有更多顧慮。市府決議採用行政院核定版本，就應加快腳步與地 方溝通，取得諒解，讓全案能儘速推動。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 14.156.147.16

【大紀元10月18日報導】（中央社記者楊淑閔台北18日電）已與東京晴空塔結盟的台北101觀景台，今天宣布與東京晴空塔合辦攝影展，透過雙首都市井小民生活照，展開友好交流。

台北101觀景台與東京晴空塔，繼今年5月完成「2013台日觀光地標友好年」締結儀式，並舉辦「2013愛你一生遊雙塔」活動之後，今天（18日）再合作舉辦「台北晴空攝影展」。

台北101觀景台指出，「台北晴空攝影展」展件多達76件，包含台北101國際攝影展優秀作品、高空婚紗照，以及東京晴空塔攝影作品；展期從今天起，到11月18日止，地點在台北101的89樓觀景台展出。

東京晴空塔同步自即日起，到11月18日止，舉辦「東京晴空塔」、「台北101」旅行日記攝影比賽。

只要遊客將拍攝「東京晴空塔」或「台北101」的照片，在前述期間上傳至東京晴空塔官方粉絲團（www.facebook.com/TOKYOSKYTREE.official），入選佳作將與雙塔專業攝影作品一同於2013年12月10日至2014年1月5日（日）於東京晴空塔展出。

【周恩旭／綜合報導】與電影世界結緣已超過40年的FENDI，最新的合作是導演伍迪艾倫（Woody Allen）2014電影作品《藍色苿莉》（Blue Jasmine），台灣預計將於12月20日上映。
女主角凱特布蘭琪（Cate Blanchett）在電影中以一身FENDI入鏡，從服裝、太陽眼鏡，到身上背著的咖啡色鱷魚皮B. Fab包，就連在紐約第五大道上的FENDI旗艦店也是這部片重要的拍攝場景之一。
