【呂健豪／新北報導】昨天新北市樹林社區大學到東北角龍洞進行校外教學時，不幸發生8死的重大意外，今天新北市府由副市長侯友宜主持召開跨局處協調會議，與東北角繼宜蘭海岸國家風景區管理處及相關單位進行會商，就撫恤及後續相關安全議題進行研議，初步檢討有關步道開放政策以及相關安全管理措施等內容。

至於發生意外的樹林社區大學有參加成員沒有投保相關保險，侯友宜強調市府會要求教育局根據樹林社大活動內容以及相關程序進行調查，若確定有人為疏失，則會追究相關責任。

【林奐成／綜合外電報導】美國佛羅里達州一名21歲男大學生，涉嫌性侵2名女子，上周遭到逮捕，以性侵和毆打罪名遭到起訴。離譜的是，這名男子曾在事後寫信給受害女子，向她們表示抱歉，卻宣稱他當時「以為」她們想跟他發生關係。
 
英國《每日郵報》報導，就讀於佛羅里達墨西哥灣沿岸大學的塞庫里奇（Joshua Sekulic），被兩名同校女學生指控強暴。兩女稱，她們當時已明確拒絕與塞庫里奇發生性行為，仍慘遭性侵兩次。另有一名女子，指控塞庫里奇強迫她做愛不成，就動手痛毆她。

【徐彩媚、簡志偉／嘉義報導】嘉義陳姓男子疑追求服飾店老闆娘不成，今天凌晨憤而跑到嘉義縣大林鎮店外縱火，幸無人傷，警循線在理容院逮捕正在按摩的陳嫌。

嘉義縣消防局指出，嘉義縣大林鎮仁愛路一家服飾店於凌晨1時28分發生火警，消防人員趕往救援，火勢不到20分鐘控制，幸無人傷亡，不過，起火點是從店外開始延燒，懷疑是人為因素造成。

民雄分局調查，火場目擊者有人看到，一名男子當時在服飾店外徘徊，疑縱火後逃離現場，警方立即調閱附近路口監視器，發現一輛轎車相當可疑，將車號及駕車的男子提供服飾店老闆娘辨識，疑為住在嘉義市的陳姓男子。

警方循線到陳男住家，但他並未返家，透過監視器，發現陳男疑在嘉義市北港路一帶，沿途找尋，在一家理容院外發現其轎車，警員循線在店內包廂內找到正在按摩的陳男。

陳男辯稱沒有縱火，但其左手臂有燒傷痕跡，且警方提示監視器畫面，陳男才坦承犯行，並供稱，與服飾店老闆娘熟識，因雙方發生口角，才會凌晨購買汽油到服飾店縱火報復。警訊後，全案依公共危險罪嫌移送嘉義地檢署偵辦。
