中華職棒中信兄弟隊今年推出全新LOGO，兇猛的大象造型頗獲球迷肯定，但這頭「猛象」，確定無法出現在球衣上。

今日出刊的《中國時報》報導，根據棒球規則，球衣上不能出現「棒球」，以免造成混淆。

兄弟委託設計公司打造LOGO，隊徽圖案是大象用鼻子接了一顆棒球，沒想到拿給聯盟看的時候，馬上被打槍，要求把球拿掉。

球團因此提出兩個版本，印在球衣上的隊徽把棒球拿掉；提供球迷購買的商品或加油旗幟等，則會保留。（王嘉慶／綜合報導）
