拓荒者今天(6日)在主場以94比75大勝小牛，但是他們折損了主力射手Wesley Matthews，因為阿基里斯腱撕裂整季報銷。

意外發生在第3節開端，Matthews快攻時接球腳步打滑，倒地表情十分痛苦，需要工作人員攙扶才有辦法退場。

診斷結果出爐，Matthews因為阿基里斯腱撕裂宣布整季報銷，他說：「我原本還有點不相信，我坐著接受檢查，沒有辦法感受到我的阿基里斯腱。」

賽前Matthews本季投進173顆三分球，全聯盟可以排到第4名，出賽60場平均15.9分3.7籃板2.3助攻。

此戰拓荒者終場以94比75擊敗小牛、拿下近期5連勝，少了射手Matthews，對他們季後賽之旅肯定會造成影響。
