民進黨主席蔡英文大清早8點不到，抵達苗栗市客家人信仰中心之一玉清宮，在多位黨工職、地方要角陪下，向關聖帝君上香祈福，熱情支持者爭相排隊領紅包、合照，展現她的高人氣，有民眾高聲喊「總統好！」蔡微笑回應。短暫停留半個多小時，風塵僕僕趕往下一個走春行程。（楊永盛／苗栗報導）
