繼前「狼王」Kevin Garnett重返明尼蘇達灰狼，「小王子」 Tayshaun Prince也從波士頓塞爾提克回到當初發跡的底特律活塞。

活塞送出瑞典前鋒Jonas Jerebko與上場時間有限的2年級生Gigi Datome，向塞爾提克換來舊臣Prince，皆大歡喜。

Prince於2002年選秀首輪被活塞挑中，他驚人的臂展與出色的判斷力讓他成為球隊防守大將，隔年躍居先發，2004年活塞封王的「先發五虎」當然也有他的席位。

效力活塞11個球季，Prince平均貢獻12.8分、4.7籃板，2013年被交易到曼菲斯灰熊，今年初又被送到塞爾提克。

替塞爾提克出賽9場後，Prince如願回到知遇之恩的底特律，他的合約將在今年夏天結束，留，或不留，似乎答案已經相當明朗。
