埃及釋放遣返半島電視台澳洲記者

埃及國營通訊社與警方表示，埃及正將半島電視台繫獄的澳洲記者葛雷斯特（Peter Greste）遣返澳洲。

2013年12月，葛雷斯特被捕，並在去年6月因散播假新聞等罪名入獄。埃及並未說明和他一起入獄，半島電視台另外兩名人員法米與莫哈梅德的命運。

3人均否認埃及政府指控的罪名。他們被控在埃及前總統穆希2013年遭軍方推翻後，與遭到埃及禁止的「穆斯林兄弟會」勾結。3人表示他們純粹只是報導新聞。
