MLB／改造古巴好手　響尾蛇很期待

上個月以6年6850萬美元簽下Yasmany Tomas，響尾蛇正在著手改造計畫，要讓他從外野移防至三壘。

Yasmany Tomas現年24歲，是2013年WBC古巴國家隊的成員之一，從古巴叛逃後宣告為自由球員。

經過一段日子的測試，最後Yasmany Tomas跟響尾蛇簽下6年6850萬美元，合約與2014年的美聯新人王Jose Abreu相近(6年6800萬美元)。

過去Yasmany Tomas是名外野手，響尾蛇要將他改造成三壘手，總經理Dave Stewar說：「他接受新知的能力很強，我們認為他能夠勝任三壘。」

Yasmany Tomas自己則說：「我感到很自在，過去在古巴也曾守過三壘。」

最後他談到，「我的夢想並不是從古巴逃出來，我想要走合法的路線，但這似乎是唯一的辦法(叛逃)。」
