約55%美國人認為收入趕不上生活成本

Pew研究中心的調查顯示，即使多數受訪的美國人感到經濟正在復甦，約55%的受訪者仍認為收入趕不上生活成本。

CNN Money報導，37%受訪者認為收入和生活成本維持打平，只有6%的受訪者認為收入的成長速度比生活成本的增長快。

多數美國人的收入趕不上生活成本的主因，是薪資成長已陷入停滯多年：薪資的中位數約為5萬1,939美元，經通膨調整後約是1995年的水準。

調查發現，認為收入趕不上生活成本的人，以老年人、低收入階層和高中以下學歷的人感受最強烈。

縱然美國的失業率已降至2008年中以來最低水準，美國人仍認為很難找工作，特別是50歲以上、和沒上過大學的民眾。
