科工館驚豔淡水觀賞蝦育種身價高

「水中巧匠的多彩風姿─觀賞蝦特展」今天起至3月8日，在高雄科工館四樓生物科技廳展出。由科工館與台灣福蝦公司策劃，結合生物科技常設展示廳介紹農業生物品種培育相關知識，展出台研發的水晶蝦及新米蝦品種。

「哇，真的好漂亮！」民眾看著水缸裡的「紅白水晶蝦」、「黑金剛」、「紅金剛」、「藍金剛」、「黃色閃電」、「藍熊貓」、「香吉士」、「玫瑰蝦」等超過10種的特色觀賞蝦品種，忍不住發出讚嘆。紅白水晶蝦一隻身價10元美金；最新培育出的「半面黑金剛」，一對種蝦國外買家甚至出價24萬。

台灣培養觀賞蝦新穎品系與繁殖技術已十分成熟，這些斑斕色澤與各式案花紋的淡水觀賞蝦，風靡歐、美及亞洲市場。
