學者：禽流感至少已悶燒3個月

台大獸醫專業學院名譽教授賴秀穗認為，禽流感大爆發並非一朝一夕，家禽業者出現鴨鵝蛋雞病徵，至少在地方已流傳三個月以上，且病毒重組非幾個月內完成，疫情會失控爆發，是養殖業者知情不報、中央地方防疫所輕忽所致。

他建議家禽養殖業者應該改變心態，防疫單位也應該加強教育，越早掀開疫情，才能將損失降低。

賴秀穗表示，屏東大武山蛋雞場染高病原H5N2病毒，原先業者也想自己解決，直到最後疫情全面擴大、掩蓋不住才爆發。他認為，這次禽流感會全面失控，絕對不是最近幾天才發生的，至少已經在中南部的家禽、水禽場流傳三個月以上。
