基隆市近年來新生兒出生率低，為鼓勵生產，基隆市宣布明年元旦起，將生育補助加碼1萬元。

今天出版的《聯合報》報導，基隆市的新生兒出生率近年降到全國最低，2年前開始實施生育獎金，每胎補助1萬元，明年起將比照雙北，每胎脯助2萬元，但民眾多不領情，仍覺得經濟壓力過大。另外，蘇澳鎮生育津貼補助也增加到1萬元，冬山鄉1胎補助6000元，頭城鎮前2胎1萬元，第3胎加碼到15000元。（盧麗蓮／綜合報導）
