NBA紐約尼克隊今年開賽以來戰績淒慘，與季後賽愈來愈遠。另一方面，尼克隊明星球員安東尼左膝傷勢時好時壞，據《紐約每日新聞》記者報導，他的膝蓋很可能需要透過手術來恢復。

安東尼自己也承認他一直在帶傷出戰，他說，有時候會感覺好些，有時候又不太好。但是他不會主動休戰，除非管理階層非要讓他休息。最近尼克隊一直在輸球，安東尼說，他恨這個，也討厭坐在板凳上看隊友們打球。

報導說，安東尼的膝蓋手術，日期可以暫緩到賽季結束之後。但目前來看，尼克幾乎已無季後賽希望，安東尼或許沒必要在這個時候對自己的健康冒險。
