2013年，德國獨居老人葛利特(Cornelius Gurlitt) 居所裡疑似納粹強搶的千餘件藏品曝光，估計有10億歐元(約397.719億台幣)，為全球藝術圈投下震撼彈。

這批藏品在估計後，約有500幅是納粹沒收的藝術作品，但葛利特是否該歸還藏品給原藏家，隨即引起爭論，並陷入膠著。這批藏品的法律追溯期早過，是否該還給原藏家，得憑葛利特的意願。

在2013年年底時，葛利特原先態度強硬，不願歸還作品給原收藏者；但2014年1月他態度軟化，4月與德國政府、德國巴伐利亞地方政府簽署協定，接受為期一年的藏品調查...( 詳全文：http://artemperor.tw/news_page.php?table=focus&id=677 )
