莊倍源11/8公祭　雷虎小組將追思致敬

空軍官校雷虎小組成員莊倍源中校的告別式，訂在11月8日上午舉行，雷虎小組為紀念隊友殉職，將以七機白煙的方式，在空中以「追思致敬」的隊型通過移靈隊伍及空軍官校門上空，送莊倍源最後一程，表達至深追思。
 
莊倍源是在10 月21 日駕駛 AT-3 型機 0815 號機，執行雷虎小組特技訓練的「三機尾隨滾」科目，與 0847 號機發生擦撞而失事，莊倍源二度想恢復飛機操控，並閃避人煙稠密地區，導致不及跳傘逃生，墜毀於高雄市梓官區，壯烈殉職。
 
國防部已追頒干城甲種二等獎章，以表彰莊倍源犧牲奉獻的精神，目前國防部也已呈總統明令褒揚莊倍源。（王烱華／台北報導）
