外出員工旅遊　紙廠宿舍燒起來

苗栗縣竹南鎮「上海興彩色印刷」紙廠，今天上午9時多，廠區旁的外勞宿舍起火，幸未波及印刷廠房及倉庫。因適逢員工至台南自強活動，無人在工廠，消防隊灌救撲滅火勢，清查鐵皮火場未發現有人員傷亡。

縣消防局第2大隊長黃德興表示，當時據報起火點是在外勞宿舍，卻找不到外勞，一度緊張，後來聯繫上梁姓老闆，才知道去他們到台南員工旅遊，研判可能是一早離開時，有菸蒂未熄滅引發火勢，但確切起火原因待查。(吳傑沐／苗栗報導)
