白坐性侵冤獄15年　獲賠12億

美國紐約一名男子，年僅16歲便因被控性侵高中同學入獄，坐了15年冤獄後才終於證明清白，獲賠超過4100萬美元（約12.3億台幣），是美國歷來獲賠金額最高的性侵冤獄案。

本案發生在1989年，時年15歲的高中女生科雷亞（Angela Correa）被勒死及性侵，由於德斯柯維奇（Jeff Deskovic）案發當天上學遲到，結果被警方懷疑是兇手。雖然德斯柯維奇的精液樣本，與死者身上的不一樣，但最終他仍在1991年被定罪入獄。

2006年，經進行DNA測試後，終證明德斯柯維奇不是兇手，真正兇手是另有其人。德斯柯維奇其後告上法院，向當局要求賠償損失，本周獲判取得賠償超過4100萬美元。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
